Emmalina and Her Unfeasibly Large Bonnet 
What kind of dog do you have? I am wondering what breed would be good for guarding chickens.
We have a Great Pyrenees but we don’t let her run free with chickens, probably no breed would be safe like that! She has a separate pen if she needs to be contained in the day and there is a fence between her and the chickens the rest of the time. Her breed is meant to deter coyotes and protect larger livestock, something we hope to evolve to when she’s older. We also have a black lab, she’s extremely placid and I think labs generally are great dogs to have around : )

He is way cool! We call him the terminator, nothing stops him!
