Today is Mother’s Day. Not here in Canada where I now live but in England, the place I think I will always refer to as ‘home’. In the middle of March we celebrate our mother’s. The wonderful women who brought us into the world, who nurtured and cared for us, who helped us become women and even mother’s ourselves. So today I am dedicating this space to the best mum in the world, my only wish being that I could share this day with her. There are no words for these feelings; they don’t make words that big.
Happy Mother’s day Mama Bean, I love you. I miss you.

I hope that memories of your mother brought warmth and comfort to your day. It is never easy to deal with the finality of losing a loved one, but there is indeed comfort in memories, though bittersweet at times.
